WELCOME TO RVGFANATIC 2.0!

Relive... Remember... Replay... Revived!
Relive, replay, remember, resurrected and revived!

RVGFanatic aims to commemorate the Super Nintendo from A-Z. The 16-bit era was the greatest time to be a video game fan, in my book, and this site aims to capture even the tiniest bit of magic from that very special period in gaming history. Join me for a nostalgic trip down memory lane as we explore the very best, the very worst and even the obscure games of the Super Nintendo’s vast library. And everything in-between!

EDIT: RVGFanatic now features an entirely new section for the first time in 13+ years… BOOKS R US! This section will be dedicated to my random book reviews and remembrances.

Thanks for visiting. Happy gaming :)
-Steve

10 thoughts on “WELCOME TO RVGFANATIC 2.0!”

    1. Thanks StarBoy! I appreciate the love. I’m launching a special article later today in celebration of 10 years (putting the finishing touches on it as we speak). I can’t believe it’s been 10 years already. Everyone says that whenever they reach 10 years of something because it never fails to ring true. Cheers!

Edit: Article is up! In honor of RVGFanatic turning 10 years old on this day, I decided there’s no better time than now to highlight my SNES collection in-depth:

      http://rvgfanatic.com/wordpress/index.php/my-snes-collection/

  1. Hello,
As I am French, forgive me in advance for my english (Google translation)

I stumbled upon your site and had a great time.

I read the articles (especially the Top 100) because I was looking for multiplayer games retrogaming. I discovered Super Family Tennis and especially BS Out of Bounds Golf!

In short, I want to congratulate you for your work and your analysis.

If only you had done the same thing on NES, GENESIS, etc … lol

    1. Hi Léland, wow, let me just say THANKS! Your kind words made my day! Sorry it took me so long to respond. I’ll try to do better going forward. Had a refreshing summer and rediscovered some old passions! Anyway, glad my articles were entertaining and informative for ya. I’m happy whenever someone discovers the joys of Super Family Tennis and BS Out of Bounds Golf. My girlfriend likes playing both of those games with me, especially Super Family Tennis.

Although I don’t tackle the NES and Genesis like I do the SNES, I do have a few select reviews for some NES and Genesis games in the “Miscellaneous Reviews” section. But yeah, I hear what you’re saying and I appreciate the sentiment. SNES has always been my #1 love when it comes to gaming consoles, so that’s where the focus remains. Thanks again for your encouraging words and support. Take care :)

  2. I love your site and your reviews, you’re a very talented reviewer, Steve. Your reviews are very entertaining and thorough. I visit your site sporadically since I don’t know how much time, perhaps 10 years ago

    1. Thank you Escarta! Please excuse my delayed reply. Wow, you’ve been visiting off and on for the better part of 10 years — that’s wild! Can you believe RVG turns 14 years old in less than a month? Where does the time go? :P

    1. Hello there, thank you for reaching out. This is Steve, owner of RVGFanatic. Apologies for the slight delay in getting back to you. Check your email. I’ll contact you!

  3. Hey, I just wanted you to know that I absolutely love this site. Whenever I’m playing a new snes rpg I immediately go to you to see your input on it. Thank you for all the hard work you’ve put it and I appreciate everything you’ve done.
