Yup, X-Men: Children of the Atom was definitely a rock solid fighting game. Thanks for sharing BTW, it did come out on the Playstation, but it was a very butchered port. I still remember the poor review scores EGM gave the PSX port.

When I read your comment about a Street Fighter 2 mode I thought about the X-Men: Children of the Atom game for the Saturn (and maybe Playstation). It plays a lot like Street Fighter and it’s worth checking out.

Thanks StarBoy! Yeah, Mutant Apocalypse definitely is a nice little game, but emphasis on little. I was very tempted to give it a 7.0, but the fact that the X-Men are involved in a pretty solid game, bumped it up to a 7.5 for me, heh. Have a great summer too!

Good review, RVGSteve, and you hit the nail right in the head with this gaame =)

I concur that it should’ve been longer and that it should have had more options, but on its own terms and for what turned up in the end it was good fun (especially as Wolverine, my favorite character of the bunch).

Haven’t seen the new X-Men movie yet (I liked the ’90s animated series and most of the live action movies, especially Days of Future Past), didn’t get a chance to.
