Thank you for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. Glad to hear your son is a monster fan! I loved kaiju movies growing up. Heck, I still do although there was a magic to them when you’re a kid that isn’t quite there when you’re an adult. Ultraman on the SNES is pretty bad, but I hope he got some fun out of it. Let me know how he liked the 2 Godzilla games you got for him this past Christmas. If you haven’t yet, look up the Godzilla review I wrote in the “Obscure Super Famicom” section for a fun monster fighting game called “Godzilla: Kaijuu Daikessen.” That’s a fun one!

My 9 year old son is a HUGE Godzilla/Ultraman fan. In fact, he discovered Ultraman first which was utterly confusing to my entire family. Here was this little boy watching dubbed YouTube videos of a Japanese show we’d never heard of. He’d ramble on with such excitement and I’d be completely lost.

He’s recently gotten interested in the old consoles & I actually purchased this game for him tonight. It may be too hard & he may only play it once, but he’s definitely a collector and it’ll pair well with his 2 Godzilla games that are on the way for Christmas.
