Glad this book resonated with you so much and helped to make you appreciate literary concepts. I was recently visiting Seattle with the wifey, and ran across a nice copy of The Winter of Our Discontent, which I believe was the last book Steinbeck wrote. I was more than happy to pay $4 for it, especially since I had my eye on it and unexpectedly came upon it! Another 2021 goal of mine is to read my first Ray Bradbury book. Heard so many good things about him as a writer and am looking forward to checking out his works.

I read books as quickly as I could because my teachers told me too. This was the book that made me slow down a bit and appreciate the thoughts, beliefs, and character that an author puts into his work.
