There's alot of moves and hidden material in the Genesis version of King of the Monsters 2 if you ever do a review.

Like most characters have a secret move of some sort and there's a hidden value in the game for how much a character's blow does a dizzy effect. Like one character, initially thought weak, turns out to have alot of attacks that have a high percentage chance of making their opponennt dizzy.

There's a ton of new sprites to give every character a full moveset. Japanese fan-game fansite ChoujinWorld even said that the genesis version is by far his favorite.

Sorry about the advertisement, I love that game.

Thank you for the recommendations. I remember reading in EGM about how different the Genesis version of King of the Monsters was. I always thought it was super cool that they tried something different with that port.

There were also two great Power Ranger fighting games for the Game gear. They had a surprising amount of moves for a handheld title as well as supre moves in the latter.

There was a good choice of fighters including the monsters, the power rangers, the Zords and even some Putty+Oozeman mooks. The rangers and Mooks normally couldn't fight eachother unless a code was used though.

Also if you like monster fighting games, a surprisingly good one is King of the monsters 2 for the Sega Genesis.
