Thank you for being a long time fan! Speaking of which, my apologies for taking such a long time to reply! Mega Man & Bass is definitely an intriguing SNES game in more ways than one. And definitely a blast!

I recommend going with the English translation. It's nice being able to read the character bios as well as item upgrades. Have fun whenever you get around to it! I know Mega Man & Bass divides the fan base a lot (people either really like it or really dislike it) but I personally think it's awesome.

Good review =) I never played Capcom's Nintendo 16-bit swansong, but I have played Mega Man 8 on the Mega Man Anniversary Collection years ago and honestly find that game to be underrated fun

I don't know where it'll rank in my Mega Man favorites list when I do play it (my favorite in the original series is III, but overall Mega Man X is the epitome of the franchise for me on account of it being not just incredible to play and explore with the different power-ups you're accorded but also because it was the first game in the franchise that I beat, and this was years before I began to appreciate Mega Man as a whole); though given Rockman and Forte/Mega Man & Bass is a spiritual follow-up to the 32-bit entry of sorts given the Blue Bomber's sprites and animation I think I might enjoy it when I play it (either in its native SFC format or through repro cart, I'm okay with either option); at least I hope so anyway.

Keep up the good work, my RVGFriend =D
