It took me a lot of hours to screen cap it and transcribe it, but it was totally worth it. Mean Gene and Bret Hart had two of my favorite Hall of Fame speeches of all time, and I had to do it to honor Mean Gene’s legacy. I’ve never been to his burger joint but if I ever see one, I’m definitely paying my respects. Yeah, I was very touched also by Hogan’s tribute to Mean Gene this past week on Monday Night Raw. It had me teary eyed. Just hearing Hogan’s love for Gene and all the other great men we’ve lost over the years… hits home. Our childhood is slowly fading away each time one of these iconic legends passes away. But, we celebrate their memories and their legacies. Gone, but never forgotten.
