I read the part where you mentioned the anvils that fall out of the sky and was hoping to see that in my gameplay and I wasn’t disappointed. The very 1st tip-off had it come down right away to my surprise. I picked Bugs and Marvin because of his 3 point rating, I kept launching 3’s and kept missing. I was quickly down by 21 points and the thought occurred to me to start over but then I thought no, let me tough it out. I’m glad I did because after a while I started putting more attention to my release and started nailing three’s and stealing the ball more often. I wound up winning by 9 points I think. I didn’t turn on the wacky meter but I think next time I’ll try it with that turned up, the difficulty was at 6 so maybe I’ll mess around with that too after a while. You’re right about this game going under the radar, I know I saw it advertised in an old EGM iirc, then later when I’d see the Space Jam Videogame (which was also fun imo) I would remember this game and think i should look for it but never did. Thank you for this story as it was a great recommendation.
