Thank you Dale! I had some reservations about adding such a radically different category to RVGFanatic after over 13+ years of predominantly covering video games (SNES in particular)... but this is where my interests lie currently. I want to share and document my book thoughts, hope to invoke some reading nostalgia and maybe inspire some folks to hunt down some obscure paperbacks if the urge strikes them. I definitely will write game reviews again at some point this year, but right now I'm on a huge book binge and it's allowed me to get back to updating RVGFanatic, something I miss doing. Your words of encouragement mean a lot! I'm just getting started, and I have a TON of nostalgic and lesser known books to eventually cover. Cheers!

Loving these old school book reviews!! I can relate with you a lot on the fun getting the latest Scholastic newsletter and devouring a book. I only read a few RL Stine books, mostly the Goosebumps ones, but I kept up with the live action TV show in the mid-to-late 90s!

Eventually I tossed most of my childhood books too around middle school or early high school thinking I outgrew them, but I made sure to save two or three of my favorites and still have them! This is awesome seeing you revisit past favorites and I look forward to future entries!
