Thanks Daniel! That's an apt description of Ito's batshit crazy work. They're like twisted nightmares gone off the rails. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more Ito. I picked up Uzumaki last week online and it should arrive Friday or Saturday. Earlier today I picked up No Longer Human and Lovesickness. This guy is awesome! BTW, have you read any of Yoshihiro Tatsumi's work? I hear he's somewhat comparable to Ito, although Tatsumi's work is not really horror-based in the way Ito's work is. I'm about to start The Push Man and Other Stories, which will be my first introduction to Tatsumi. I found a copy at Half Price, skimmed over it and it looks very depraved. I instantly bought it, lol.

Looks like great stuff! I've read most of Ito's work, and I think you'd really enjoy them. They're like nightmares that lose all semblance of reason and go completely crazy. Uzumaki and Gyo are probably his most famous graphic novels, but my favorite was Remina, which has a greater scale than either of those two. I hope you'll review them all sometime!
